About Whitney

Whitney is a social worker with a decade of experience in the field of mental health and addictions, as well as experience working with neurodiverse individuals. She enjoys working with all ages and provides counselling through a trauma informed/harm reduction lens and utilizes a variety of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Positive Psychology.

Whitney believes that through fostering a strong connection and relationship to self and community, individuals can navigate life with increased hope, resilience and joy. When working with individuals, Whitney strives to help them build healthy communication skills, increased self-awareness and self-love, which increases the capacity for individuals to deal with stress and change, and improves mental wellbeing.

Whitney has experience working with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma and substance misuse. Whitney has extensive experience working with individuals who are neurodivergent and has specific training in supporting autistic individuals and their families.

Whitney is excited to offer individual and family therapy to individuals aged 8 and older.
